We’ll consider the decision making process before, during, and after, along with the avy forecast, and the terrain to see where we can learn more about the evolving snowpack and the nature of how, when, and where incidents seem to be happening in Colorado.

Please read the accident reports below before attending so we can get right in to the discussion. It will also be helpful to review the avy forecast for the day of each incident.

It is also recommended you study the maps for each slide area to understand the type of terrain they were working in.
