Event Details

Becca Glosser is gracious enough to share her 14 person Ruby Horsethief permit with us this July. The plan is to arrive at the James M. Robb Colorado River State Park the evening of July 19th to prepare for the next morning launch from the park.

Drivers are recommended to have the Colorado State Parks pass which will afford “safe” and free parking. The first day we’ll float approx 10miles to Cottonwood 1 Camp. Next night staying at Black Rock 4 Camp. Take out at Westwater on the 22nd.

Attendees are required to participate in the planning process either by attending this virtual planning session, or watching the Zoom and contributing info to the document that will be created. All gear is the responsibility of each participant to provide.

The group will need to decide on food and group gear rentals (like a groover) in order to put together this self-supported trip. Come chat with us to get the plans going.
